Mile High Sub-District Conference Announced
Mile-High Sub-district Conference, "Leading in a New Day: A Morning of Celebrating our Ministries Together," will be Saturday, March 1, 2008, 8:00 am- 12:30 pm, at Parker UMC. Rev. Janet Forbes will deliver the worship message. There will be many workshops to choose from, including "General Conference-United or Untied Methodists," "Ho Ho Hospitality and Outreach-Evangelism that Works," and "Website Development/Maintenance." Deadline for Ethnic YA Internship Looms!
There is just under one month left to apply for the 2008 Ethnic Young Adult Summer Internship. Please share this application with college age students who have a growing passion for Christ, community and leadership in ministries of justice and mercy. This ETHNIC YOUNG ADULT
SUMMER 2008 INTERNSHIP PROGRAM runs from June 01 - August 01, 2008, and is Sponsored by The Inter-Ethnic Strategy Development Group, Funded by an Ethnic Local Church Grant, and Administered by The General Board of Church and Society. Board of Higher Ed Accepting Applications for Merit Award
The Conference Board of Higher Education is now accepting applications for the 2008 Board of Higher Education Merit Award for students attending a United Methodist Senate approved college or seminary, with a deadline of April 14th. The nomination form is here:
