Effectiveness Plan Documents Available
Clergy evaluations (self-evaluation and the S/PPRC evaluation) are due to each district office by May 1. The clergy evaluation tools are on the RMC web site at Church Resources -> Effectiveness Strategy (http://rmcumc.org/CR/effectiveness.htm).

Congregational evaluations are to be competed every three years. Those congregations which did not complete theirs in 2007 must complete one in 2008. That tool is available on the RMC web site at the same page (http://rmcumc.org/CR/effectiveness.htm).

Note these forms are made so that they can be saved to one's hard drive, completed, and then e-mailed back to the proper personnel. They can also be printed out and completed by hand and mailed if that is your preference. If you have any questions about this process, contact either your district office or Ben Roe at the Conference Office.

Lay Equalization Rules Available
The Lay Equalization Rules were inadvertently left out of the 2007 Conference Journal. They are now available on the RMCUMC.org web site, at Conference Information -> Annual Conference Sessions -> 2008 Annual Conference page -> Equalization Process (http://rmcumc.org/COI/ac/ac2008/equalizationrules.htm). Please make a note of the process as you participate in choosing equalization members of the Conference Session.

Display Policy and Application Form Announced
The registration Application for Annual Conference Display space deadline is April 20, at the time we will review all applications , and using the criteria stated in the Conference Display Area policy (found on our Conference Website) and the space limits we will either approve or return applications .

At that time we will invoice the approved tables for the amount due payable by June 1st.

We need a completed application from any group interested in a table, the applications are the tool we will use to determine the allocation of space along with the priority listed in the policy.

Reconciling Ministries Networks and Church & Society Invite Conversation
Troy Plummer, Executive Director of the Reconciling Ministries Network, will be visiting the Boulder and Denver metro area the first weekend of March. The Church and Society Network is co-sponsoring with the Reconciling Ministries Network a gathering for networking and conversation with pastors of Reconciling Congregations, Reconciling United Methodists and others interested in a more inclusive church.

Where: Grant Avenue United Methodist Church (216 S Grant St, Denver, CO)
When: Sunday, March 2, 2008 @ 4 p.m.-6 p.m.
Contact: Rev. Mariah Hayden, 303-287-4718

One of the things we will be talking with Troy about is a way to celebrate Reconciling Ministries in the Rocky Mountain Conference, perhaps directly after this year's General Conference. We will begin planning this event at the March 2nd gathering which we hope will be a witness to a fully inclusive, whole church. If you (or your church) are interested in participating in the planning or the event itself, please contact Mariah Hayden at the number above.
