Annual Conference Golf Tourney, June 18th Announced
Dust off your clubs, limber up those lower back muscles, go buy so more golf balls, and plan to sign up for the next Annual Conference Golf Tourney scheduled for Wed, June 18 at 7:30 AM to be held at Wellshire GC in Denver. There will be two classes of competition this year to accommodate both there series golfers and those, let's say, not-so-series golfers. There will be prizes for both classes. Bottom line - this is a fun event!
To keep tradition alive, the golf tourney will have its usual set of "unique" rules and regulations. For example, we who are in the church have often been made aware of the meaning of 666 to some Biblical interpreters as the Devil. So in honor of that, so to speak, the sixth hole (Par four for you enthusiasts) will be played in its entirety with a six iron....that should make it a hell-of-a-hole, so to speak.
So sign up as soon as you can, registrations are limited to the first 80 golfers. All funds raised will be donated to the Clergy Covenant Fund. Cost is $125.
For competitive golfers, get your foursomes ready and register them together. All other golfers, let us know your average score and you will be placed on a foursome.
Just email Bill Selby at integrity4u at comcast.net or mail checks made out to The Center for Pastoral Effectiveness, to Bill at 9035 Bear Mountain Drive, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126
